Consilient Health continues its support of Narrative 4 and The Victoria Foundation
Consilient Health are delighted to continue its support of Narrative 4, a not-for-profit organisation based in Dublin and the Victoria Foundation a local charity based in Richmond Upon Thames.
Narrative 4 aims to bring an evidence-based empathy education programme to every school in Ireland. Empathy education addresses hate speech, ends isolation and fosters a culture of care.
Consilient Health’s support of €2,500 will enable the training of 25 Dublin based teachers to receive 8 hours of CPD training, equipping them with skills to facilitate empathy education programmes with students in schools who have DEIS status (Educational disadvantage. Delivering Equality of Opportunity in School).
The Victoria Foundation provides grants to students studying medicine, mobility aids to young people and accessible minibuses. While the latter are local initiatives throughout Surrey, medical grants are provided to students studying at universities across the UK.
Consilient Health’s support of £2,500 will support 5 medical students from lower socio-economic backgrounds studying at universities around the country to help cover the cost of textbooks, study materials, medical equipment, or travel to hospital placements or electives.
