Consilient Health is officially named as one of the 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women

The company’s ‘Menopause in the Workplace’ policy is just one of the reasons why employees at Consilient Health believe they are a great place for women to work.

Richmond upon Thames, 20th July 2022: The 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women list was launched this morning by Great Place to Work® UK, recognising Consilient Health among the 263 ranked organisations.

This recognition confirms that Consilient Health is:

  • A great workplace for all, including women.
  • An organisation where people trust each other and employees are able to reach their full human potential, no matter who they are or what they do.
  • Supportive of the different identities women hold and ensures their daily experiences are positively and consistently experienced.
  • Able to recognise that women are a valuable talent pool and strives for fair representation of women in the workforce and throughout management.

Since the launch of Consilient Health’s sustainability strategy, a core area of focus has been to ‘Be a People Business’, where various policies and initiatives have been introduced to contribute towards the wellbeing of employees. Some of these policies focus on various stress points in employees’ lives, such as the menopause.

Karen Pulley, Head of Sustainability at Consilient Health says:

“Consilient Health has recently been updating and reviewing current policies. We are delighted to include our policy on ‘Menopause in the Workplace.’ As part of our Diversity and Inclusion we felt it necessary to emphasise the importance of having this policy in place. Having recently gained ‘Best Workplace Award for Women’ in the UK, we feel that this is just another proactive way in which we can offer support for all who work at Consilient Health.”

Deirdre Kelly, Country Manager Republic of Ireland at Consilient Health says:

“Over recent years, Consilient Health has put in place various initiatives, expert sessions and policies to not only champion women in the organisation but also to support the progression and wellbeing of all staff.”

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, says:

“Now in its fifth year, our 2022 list showcases the largest collection of Best Workplaces™ for Women that the UK has ever recognised. These results are based on what women themselves have anonymously reported to us about their workplace experience and how well represented they are in the workforce and management.

Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about. Only by first identifying the gaps in workers’ experiences can organisations truly take action to close them, which is why analysing employee experience is important. We are proud that the data and insights we provide organisations helps on that continuous journey – and it’s wonderful to celebrate so many Best Workplaces™ for Women this year, across all sectors and organisational sizes.”
